This project was developed for my CAD Design course, focusing on its applications in apparel. The concept revolved around modern grunge aesthetics and shoegaze, blending raw textures and ethereal influences to create a unique design language.
The assignment aimed to navigate the full design process, from conceptualization to digital pattern creation and 3D simulation. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create the concept board and technical flats, bringing the aesthetic vision to life. Next, I utilized Gerber pattern design software to generate precise digital flat patterns, which were then imported into CLO 3D. Within CLO 3D, I performed fit adjustments and simulated the three-dimensional representation of the garment, achieving a cohesive and dynamic final product.
This project allowed me to explore the intersection of creative expression and technical innovation, reinforcing my passion for detailed, process-driven design.
